How do I set up an account with sneakpeeq?
By going to sneakpeeq.com and clicking Facebook Connect.
What happens if I forget my sign-in information?
You sign in using Facebook Connect. You can ask facebook.com to send you a new password. You will be peeqing and shopping with friends in no time!
Basic
What is sneakpeeq?
Online shopping, with short sales, great deals, and new stores daily. Everything has a fixed price, that you can lower further by being more active on sneakpeeq and earning badges
What kind of products does sneakpeeq have?
Housewares, Apparel, Accessories, Gourmet food, Beverages, and more. We're always exploring new categories, trying to bring you new daily discoveries.
How does sneakpeeq work?
Every day, we put a new set of amazing products from new brands on the site. We then take what we know about you as a sneakpeeq shopper (aka "peeqer") and present you with 3 products that we think you'll like the most. The more you participate on the site the better we can predict your personal style. You can also browse through the other stores and like, love, share, and peeq to help us learn more about you.
By playing around on the site, and sharing, peeqing, and buying items you can unlock badges. Some badges have the power to lower the prices even further!
What is a Peeq? [Each of these are visual with icons]
A peeq is the action of flipping over a price tag. As a new user you have a limited number of peeqs but the more you participate the more you'll earn. Every 24 hours the peeqs are refilled to your account. If you run out of peeqs, don't worry- we will give you opportunities to earn more peeqs.
A peeq is worth 5 points toward that particular store's leaderboard, as well as counting towards various badges and teaching sneakpeeq more about what you love to shop for.
What is a Share?
On each product and store page you will find a share button. If you click this button you have the option of sharing your thoughts about a product on your Facebook wall. Through the power of sharing, you can help your favorite brands become better known through social media chatter.
A share is worth 10pts towards that store's leader board as well as counting towards various badges and teaching sneakpeeq more about what you love to shop for.
What is a Love?
A love is a way to record your favorite products, and keep images of them attached to your profile after their sales end. Although loves are not worth any points, they are helpful in creating a more personalized shopping experience for you. In addition, your friends can browse through your loves and see what kinds of items you love to love. Just think of it as a way to express what you'd buy on sneakpeeq if you had endless amounts of money.
What is a buy?
a buy is a completed purchase on sneakpeeq. At this point in time all buys must happen individually, but we hope to provide a shopping cart in the near future.
Recommendations
How do you recommend products?
We recognize that you have a unique taste and want to learn about it via your peeqs, loves, shares and purchases. From what we know about you, our computers search through our current sales to find something most similar to your preferrences. If you see something you do not like, give us a second chance as we are starting to learn about your profile.
Purchases
How do I buy?
Use one of your peeqs to flip over a price tag. Then press the buy button. You'll be guided through our PayPal secured checkout and wah-lah! You're all done.
What payment options do I have?
sneakpeeq accepts all major debit/credit cards (American Express, MasterCard and Visa). We process payments through a PayPal secured checkout.
When does sneakpeeq charge my credit card?
sneakpeeq charges the credit card at the time of purchase.
Do I need Peeqs to buy something?
Yes. In order to see the price of an item you must have a peeq to flip over the tag. Your peeq counter, in the top right corner of the page, will count down your peeqs as you use them.
What if I already ran out of peeqs?
Click on the peeq button, again, you'll be instructed on how to earn more peeqs. Your peeqs will also refresh within 24 hours (midnight PST)
Shipping
How long does it take to receive my purchase?
This depends on the brand and length of the sale. Our goal is to get you your purchase within 14 days of the sale ending.
What if I haven't received my purchase yet?
We're sorry to hear that, but have a very responsive customer service center. contact support@sneakpeeq.com
Do you ship overseas or to APO/FPO?
Not yet! We are working to expand our shipping options so everyone around the world can peeq too!
Returns and Credits
What happens if I get the wrong item/ item doesn't fit/ item is broken?
Return it to sneakpeeq within 21 days and receive sneakpeeq credit. If you have any questions about your return contact support@sneakpeeq.com Click here to learn more about our return policies.
What is sneakpeeq account credit?
When you return an item to sneakpeeq, we issue a credit to your account for the entire purchase amount less the original shipping costs. Your account credit can be used towards any future purchase on sneakpeeq.
Do my account credits expire?
Credits for returned merchandise do not expire. Other promotional credits do expire; please read the stated details of each promotion to see the restrictions. You can also go to Account Credits to see your credits balance.
Badges and Leaderboards
What is a badge?
A badge is an achievement marker. The more active you are on sneakpeeq the more chances you have to earn badges. Some badges, green in color, have gifts attached to them. These gifts can range from a percentage off, to more peeqs, to sneakpeeq credit towards your next purchase, even swag. The more you play the more you'll earn.
What is a leaderboard?
For every store we have a leaderboard of top participants. The more you peeq, share, and buy the more points you'll get. The top three people in each store's leaderboard will receive a reward badge. Leaderboards are a competition all the way to the last minute of the store being open.
How are points earned on a leader board?
Points are as follows
- Peeq = 5 pts
- Share = 10 pts
- Buys = 100 pts
Points are added (ex: if you peeq on 4 items in a store, share 1 item in a store and buy 2 items in a store your score for that store would be 240pts (20+ 20+200)
I'm one of the top three! Now what?
Hold on to your rank by continuing to be active in the store. Your rank is not secured until after the store's sale has ended.
Transition
What happened to my credits?
Your credits are upgraded to nearest five dollar and are converted into five dollars badges. You can use your five dollar badges on any purchase. Currently you can only use one badge to discount a purchase.
What happened to my levels?
We know many of our sneakpeeq customers had achieved high levels of status on our old Gem rankings, we've given you an exclusive gem badge that no one else can ever earn, and some extra gifts in credits to use the new redesign. There will now be new ways to earn high rankings on the site through new badges, plus you'll always have you gem badge.
Emails
How do I unsubscribe or subscribe to emails?
All of our emails have an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the page. You may choose to click the link and unsubscribe.
I've unsubscribed why am I still getting emails?
We have a series of mailing lists based on types of products we think you'll love to be alerted about. By unsubscribing to an email about handbags, you are not unsubscribed to emails about other products (i.e. Gourmet foods) if you've been actively peeqing and buying those items. If you wish to have no emails sent to you, make sure to uncheck all the boxes on the unsubscribe form.
