The Indonesians named it Kopi Gajah, which translates to “Elephant Coffee.” Kopi Gajah Kayumas has a unique taste with high acidity, medium body, and intense aroma when compared to other coffee variants. Theirs is grown in the area of Ijen Mountains of East Java at a height of 3,300–5,000 feet above sea level, giving it the high mountain characteristics prized by world coffee connoisseurs.
